Angry Can't get front diff to drop

Ok, so I am having a problem getting the front of my jeep to drop. As you can see, I have removed the coil springs, the shocks, the sway bar links, the tie rod, the track bar. The only thing holding the axle to the frame are the control arms. I didn't want to remove those but if that is my only option I guess I will. it just sits there. Does anyone have any other options for me?

Thanks in advance!

why are you wanting to get your axle to drop so far? im guessing putting in larger coils... but if you want the axle to drop further you will need to disconnect you CA's. Actually if your getting a 3"+ kit i would suggest new extented arms.

I am trying to take the oil pan off without messing up another gasket set. I refuse to take the tranny out and don't know any other way to take it out other than drop the front.

ok, so after trying my hardest, I was unable to get it further down. So I have to resort to removing CAs. My question: should I remove the uppers or lowers? which will be easier to put back on once I am done with the oil pan?

Thanks in advance!

Remove the lowers, I'd say there most likely hitting on your spring perches..

I kept the tires on to add weight to the axle to try to get it to drop more. I will take them off if by removing the lowers allows it to drop more. I really want to drop it so far that I dont even have to touch it when removing the oil pan.

Thanks for the help!

i'd unbolt the upper arms and take the wheels off.... it should pivot on the lower arms and swing right down... be carefull of brake lines tho....driveshaft?
