Default cant find a trans mount

ive tried to find a tranny mount locally for my 01 cherokee and all the local parts stores come up as "not available" so i ordered one for a 97 and its offset by 1" . has anyone ran into this problem? my oem mounting points are centered w/in the mount itself, no offset

you sure it dont work? mine didn't seen like it would work from the look or feel of it but turns out I had to jack the trans up ALOT higher than I thought and loosen the crossmember on one side.

Oh and try Oreillys, they were the only ones that carried mine.

oreillys couldnt get one for mine, I made a polyurethane mount from an unused left over advance adapters kit from a 4l60e to d300 kit. just not sure if im digging the extra vibrations from the poly mount but other than that its smooth as glass. If i can get use to it i will keep it, if not ill get the correct mount

I'd keep it if i were you. Im tired of replacing transmission mounts. Need to replace both my engine mounts as well seeing as they are rubberless, however im sure the two have nothing to do with each other.

this is the mount i made to replace the oe mount. its an old left over advance adapters kit i cut down and welded 1/4 plate to to adapt it to the trans and i drilled two new holes in the cross member to fit after making sure everything was in line

actually no. the only thing i feel is the harmonics of the engine and trans. i only feel it under load and sitting still in gear, off the gas coasting you dont feel anything. my trans shifts awesome, firm but soft, nice positive shifts. you can definetly feel the torque when you get on the gas. its instant, no slack there
