cant find noise
I have a 99 grand Cherokee with the 4.7l and Quadra drive and dana 30 frontend. I have what I would describe as gears grinding and a vibration in the frontend. I replaced both cv's axles and pulled the carrier out all the gear look fine but there seem to be a little play where the driver's side axel slides into the carrier. I also replace both hub assembly bearings. I found another carrier at a junkyard but it would seem to have about the same play when I spin the spider gears SOMEONE HELP!!!
and it seem to get worse in 4lo and I seem to be able to spin the back tires all day on gravel
