Default Can't Find Location of Rain Leak

Whenever it rains, whether I'm driving or it's sitting, rain leaks in from above the steering wheel. I have resealed the entire weather-stripping of the windshield and it has continued. So next I thought that maybe there was a possibility that it was trickling in through the roof lines from the back hatch area, so I used elastic silicon to seal up the holes where the wires from the lift gate enter and also temporarily duct taped over the crack between the roof and lift gate to see if the issue stemmed from back there. Again, I have been unsuccessful at finding the location of the leak where the rain is coming in. My last effort will be to remove the stock roof rack and see if it's entering where the rack is bolted to the roof. If the roof rack removal does not solve the issue, I would like to know if anyone else has any other possible ideas of where the rain could be entering.

It is a substantial amount of water that soaks the drivers seat and leaves a puddle of water on my floor liner in the back seat.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Could be the windshield itself. I like to isolate the water by using a hose and run it over suspect areas instead of just hosing the whole thing at once, like rain does.

You mite have to remove the windshield and check the lip the seal sits and make sure the is no rust in there .

compressed air along the top of the windshield is a nicer way than the hose

sitting inside and have someone hose it is the next step though
