canister purge solenoid is ticking .. is that normal?
i have no codes but the canister purge solenoid is ticking .. is that normal?. i can hear the ticking from inside the car.. should i replace it or do they all tick?

no i looked at the prices rock auto wants 25 but if everyone says its normal i wasn't gonna pay 25 bucks for something that i guess is alright to tick

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter
They all tick, it's just a solenoid that opens and closes, that is why it ticks. People often mistake it for an engine noise though.
