That's the ABS unit. If the 99 you're looking at buying doesn't have one of those, then it just didn't come from the factory equipped with anti-lock brakes. Not the end of the world. Most XJ's don't have them.

Thanks. I just did some reading and found out that ABS usually goes with dana 35 and without ABS goes with Chrysler 8.25.
