Can I run 31s on a stock xj with rolled fenders?

A few months ago, I bought my first car, the Cherokee and I love it! My friend just sold me his firestone destinations that are 31 inches, they fit on my wheel, and it seems like nobody has really answered if it will fit with stock suspension, I plan on rolling my fenders, but will it still rub too much for it to be undrivable?

Rolling the fenders will not do anything for clearance on everything else.

You can put them on and drive straight with no problems.

I've got a mild 2.5" lift on my 99 and fitted 31s on my stock steelies without issue. I wanted a bit more articulation then what I could get with the 31s so stayed with the 235s.
plus the 235s I had on prior were much more cost effective than 31s in the current market
