Default Can i do an SYE without removing the transfer case

I have an 93 country automatic. With a 4.5 inch lift, NP231 transfer case (i believe). I really want to do this soon but i need to know what im doing first

yes you can do the sye without taking the transfer-case out of the jeep completely.

Sure you can but its no big deal to remove the tc. You just needa stubby 9/16 wrench

on my build thread i have a write up on how to do it, as some early NP231 t-cases have some cage bearings that need to be pressed off from the input shaft (yours will require it) it is very easy to do it with out removing it.
