Default Can this be fixed? (Pic)

I came across this XJ for sale. Everything thing seems pretty good about it except that the owner hacked the dash above the radio to allow for a screen to pop up.

From the research I have been able to find it seems like I would need to remove the whole dash to be able to replace this area.

Doe anyone know for sure? Pic below.

Yes, on an early model that is part of the main dash.

Just put another flip up screen in it.

Agreed. Too much of a hassle to swap the whole dash. Even if everything else was ok, i couldnt stand seeing that hack job all the time. Thanks for the confirmation guys. I'll keep looking.

Actually that's OE for '96. First year of air bags. And what an ugly little thing it is lol
