A/C where to start?
Well with the past two days being in the 80s and my jeep being black, if i leave it anywhere it heats up real quick and i think its time to get the A/C working. My A/C has not blown cold since i got it end of last summer, whats the first thing to check? anything simple other then just recharging it?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Unfortunately recharging it will be the first thing a shop will do. The system has to be charged for it to be tested. After a recharge, all the system functions can be tested to find out if there is a leak, or if there has been a failure with the compressor. Whatever you do, if you take it to a shop, remember to find one that has a good reputation for ac repair. This is one system where you do not want cut corners.

X2 from a former HVAC guy.
The compressor has a low pressure safety switch that won't allow it to kick in without adequate refrigerant.
