Default A/c weird problem

Hey guys on iPhone so bare with me. Today I charged my ac system with freon all went well but for some weird reason it only blows from the defrost area(under windsheild) ??? I tried all diff ac settings but still only blows from that area? It's a 88 Cherokee Laredo if that helps.. Thanks all.

+1, the door/vent position control is under/behind the dash and is vacuum controlled. The DEF position is kinda like a default position when no/very little vacuum is present. Rubber/plastic vacuum hose broken/leaking somewhere.

this is it in a nut shell. easy way to find the leak. starting fluid. stay away from the air cleaner/intake and use sparingly. spray a little around the vac hose connections. if there is a leak it will pick it up and rev a bit. this will help you locate the leak.
