Default A/C Trouble, 01 XJ

Thank you all guys for helping out on my lift and tire selection, i appreciate it

I like fixing stuff on my own, kind of a mechanic guy, so now i got another problem: a/c

It was doing great, cold air, then clutch busted, took it with a ac guy and replace it for 50 buck, then after it was good

Now what its doing is that i turn it up and it works good for a while, but all the sudden it stops blowing ac, i hear the blower and all, but it comes out a little like if something its stuck, this happens at all leves, low, low mid, mid, and hi. SO i turn it off for a while, then i turn it back on and works again, then again the same thing happens.

So I open the hood when it was doing that and what i found out is that the gray can for the ac and the gray aluminum lines where frozen. I mean white, you could even scrape ice out of it.

Im new to ac troubleshoot and fixing so Im asking for help see if anyone can help me out on this little new project.

Thanks a lot.

I'm no a/c master but if you have the lines freezing like that and your blower and electric fan are working fine then it's gotta be low on refrigerant. if there's not a bad leak then you can just go to the parts store and buy a can and refill it yourself. it's SUPER easy to do.
