A/C problem 98 cherokee

Daughters jeep acting up. A/c will blow cold are. And then it will cut off for a minute then come back on. Clutch? Relay? Where do I go. Everything is tight and good connections.

Sounds like the system is low on Freon.

When you say the ac will "cut off", are you meaning the air will blow cold then the blower motor will stop for a minute and then resume blowing cold air?
