Not sure on the specs, but if you go to auto-zone, they have a tall can of R-134a (i think the numbers are right?) that comes with a high-pressure-end hose with guage on it for about 20-25$. You can reuse the hose in the future and the can has the oil/sealent additive right in it, so you don't have to mess with all that.
The directions on the can are easy to follow and you can only hook it up to one port on the AC hoses so you can't mess it up.
Mine has been running ice-cold for two seasons now with one can in it.
