What does "fml" mean?

Yes, you would have to nuke the dash to get at that tube. It goes from the firewall, over the HVAC Unit, to a quick disconnect, to the Mode Selector. You would be splicing the new tube to the original tube with a rubber hose before it gets to the quick disconnect. See pic.

Are you saying you don't have a bit of the tube sticking out of the engine bay side of the firewall so you can do the fix, as shown above?

Hahaha sorry maybe I shouldnt have used that "term"

I was able to get a rubber line and connect the two pieces. Now vacuum leak is gone and jeep is running great! Ill post a pick of the rig later if anyone wants to see.

Now I just have to order a new exhaust manifold due to the notorious cracking. Woo!

Looks like you've eliminated the HVAC check valve that's supposed to be there.

Nope its still there you can't see it in the pic. But its actually where the line continues to go. Lol
