My blower works on all 4 speeds on heat only. My blower does not work on defrost or a/c at all. The compresser does not kick on on ac. It tries to on defrost. When I ran a jumper wire directly to the compresser it kicks on but still no blower. I have to wiggle the control switch to make the blower kick on for heat. Blower motor is new as is resistor and blower switch. Can not find a vacum leak and my cruise control works fine. Is it possible for the climate control switch in the dash to go bad? Sometimes when I switch to a/c I hear a little vacum hiss? Will the blower not work if it's low on freon?

 

I would think blower should work regardless of refrigerant.

 

Yea I thought it should to. No idea what it is. Was working fine last year now nothing.

 

Turns out it was the climate control switch in the dash. I just replaced it with one from the jy. I now have all a/c and heat,vent and defrost. Cost 5 bucks.
