You can also use the Renix style a/c comp. Bracket(Teo bolt one) to hold your alt. So as to get it up from the bottom of the engine bay and take the place of the a/c comp.

besides the obvious, what is the correct part name for this bracket. I have googled this to death, I know about the bypass ac bracket, but I need the stock bracket. I some how tweaked the pulley housing/bearing that is connected to this bracket which holds the fan. The pulley now is off kilter and actually rubs against the bracket, its hard to explain. Any help is appreciated,

Not to hijack this threat but I would like to clarify something if I may because I'm thinking of removing my AC compressor as well and I have an 88 jeep.
So if I were to get a 91+ lower bracket and bolt that to my Renix engine, I could simply order a newer style AC bypass pulley bracket right?
