i was looking at my xj the other day and noticed that my motor and tranny mounts are gone, im going to replace them soon but ive never delt with bushings like this so my question is do i spend the extra money and go with polyurethane or just keep them stock? ive heard that going with polyurethane is a lot stronger but you will also get a lot more engine noise... is this true?

Yes that is true. More engine noise, and a good bit more vibration. But you also get a better more solid application of torque to your wheels.

i replaced rear sway bar and rear track bar bushings with prothane branded polyurethane bushings on ZJ 4.0. I realized that body roll and swaying has gone but rear fells like i have overinflated tires.
