to tell you the truth here is the proper way to do it.

1. fillup the radiator and the overflow
2. drive the vehicle till it hits it's operating temp
3. let it cool all the way down.
4. now open the radiator cap
5. start the engine
6 rev the engine to about 3000 RPM(do not let go)
7. start filling the radiator
8. when you cannot pour anymore coolant in it put the cap back on
9. let the engine rev down and take it for a spin.

I have done this with every vehicle I have owned and it always works perfectly. the old point the rear up point the rear down thing is bogus, it is all about churning the air out. Don't care what the rest of you say, I have proven this works more times then I can count and everyone I showed it to still does it to this day.

let it get warm turn on your heater on high and leave the radator cap off and top off the radator just stay clear so if it burps you dont get burned
