Whats the easiest way to make sure to get all the air out on a closed system. I have to put coolant back into my system since i changed radiator and hoses.

For oldie renix;
1, back up onto hill, the steeper the better.
2. Get the motor to temp, so the thermostat opens.
3. Shut motor off.
4. Take off temperature sender on the back side of the head.
5. Uncap pressure bottle
6. When nothing but coolant comes out, put the temp sender back in.
I had to do this today. The most important part is the hill. Need to make the hole in the back of the head the highest point so the air shoots out.

The center of the bottle is the level you want. Look down into the bottle and you'll see you want coolant a bit above the standpipe in there.
Even on level ground, if you loose up your temp sender at the back of the head and fill the bottle til you get no more air out around the sender, you're okay.
All this being said, I just do what djb383 recommends. I've never had an issue.
