2 gallons of 50/50 should do the job.
You don't dilute 50/50.
Total capacity is 3 gallons. But you never get all of it out.
Frankly better off buying 1 gallon of full strength and 1 gallons of distilled water.
The distilled water costs a buck at the dollar store.
Do you know what anti-freeze is in there now?
I always use plain old green anti-freeze.
I guess I’ll buy 3 and use whats left in the overflow.
Year: 1998 Classic (I'll get it running soon....) and 02 Grand

Meh. For forty bucks or so I would throw a new pump on there while you have it out. I know that sucker looks new, but you can't tell about the bearing seal just by looking at it.

Somebody was taking good care of that thing.
I threw a new one in and all seemed well.... then when I started her up the belt started screaming!
Everything was going well, no fluid loss and just seemed to be working.... then this morning when I was looking under the hood I noticed a hardened yellow liquid on the top of the pump.
Cheers.
It looks like it’s coming from further up, as there’s a run.
What’s the fix if it is?
So could be the thermostat gasket.
Could be the thermostat housing is not on there properly
cause the thermostat itself slipped when putting it back together.
So there is a gap somewhere.
And worse case scenario the thermostat slipped, nobody noticed, torqued
down the housing, and cracked it.

Bloody bugger!
Can I check this without taking the whole system apart?
Can I check this without taking the whole system apart?
And, how long can I live with this leaking?
Thermostat itself is a piece of cake.
No need to mess with the pump.
2 bolts, 1 hose, and one electrical connector.
Will lose a minimal amount of anti-freeze.
But check first. Clean it all up and see what happens.
Mostly likely would not be a problem in the short term.
Just check the fluid once in awhile till you get to it.
And again. Assuming it is that. LOL.

Ah sweet, that’s not so bad. So just get in and put a new gasket on it?
Will it last 4-5 months with the small leak like this?
