Burning oil?

Its supposedly a new motor with only 16 k on it and it lloks it. It didnt do it before i dropped the pan??? How much of a pain is it to drop those parts??

To do piston rings you need to take out the engine and completely dis-assemble it to get the pistions out and for valve seals you need to take off the valve cover and take out the valves/valve train and they are located around the valve. It also could be a head gasket, be sure you do a compression test before you do anything else.
