Support the body high. Put that jack under one side at a time and jack it up so your forcing the axle to articulate and remove the low side spring. It helps to remove the LCAs from axle. ( see previous post) also did you remove sway bar endlinks?

 

Do you have the nut off? Spray it with PB Blaster.

That is a scarry thought. Please do not use those as a make shift jack stand. They can break at any moment with that much weight on them like that.

 

need a good block to set my jack stands on lol
