I do agree. People that just want to cry and can't take a joke can make a forum a place that you don't want to visit. Especially you you have several on it. The moderators should start to consider banning people like that. Just my a opinion.

This ones easy, Flux capacitor, they always behave negatively to turning sharply in reverse.
OP, seriousely, you need to give a little more info to what your dealing with if your going to get some help, these guys know their stuff, but you need to be a little more descriptive, I'm just saying.

Ive got the prototype 2089 Model XJ, can't give much info cause it's all very hush hush in the development stage. I can say it's white but has flux capacitor from the blue test mule. It also does buck in reverse. Expect this issue to be resolved by production release at the 2088 Detroit auto show.

I'm a newbie, and even I post as much info as I can. I thought his stage 3 headlight fluid was acting up and causing the flux capacitor to flood and interact with the hydro-static transmission, making the whole thing buck. I keep my headlight fluid at a calm stage 2. Either that, or his rear axle is just screwed up. Better do a D44 swap.

I figured when the grim reaper comes I'll just challenge a little duel, him on his pale horse, me in my XJ. No contest. Me and the Peep will still be pullin for 2088.

Actually back to Jesserider, does it seem like the front or rear doing the bucking? With a 2wd, if the front is bucking at turn and reverse, take a look at your control arm bushings and ball joints of your yokes. If the rear is bucking, do you have a locker in or did a previous owner install a locker that is not wheeling well in the turns, although it wouldn't provide full cause for reverse buck.

It definatly seems to be the front end. Any sharp turn going forward or back it bucks , but more so in reverse. I have the basic knowledg to do it my self just trying to find out what exactly it is.....=/

Default rubbing noise when backing up and turning hard....

Hey man I'm a bit new too...but I am refurbing a 1999 2wd with my son...we noticed a similar problem as we back out of the driveway...my son noticed a groove cut into the inside sidewall of the right front tire...turns out when we turn hard left, the right tire will contact the sway bar link bottom mount where it connects to the front axle...there is a bolt screwed into the front of the right axle near the leaf springs, it limits the maximum left turn angle of the right front wheel...the remedy for us was to back out the bolt...it has a jam/lock nut on it, couldn't figger why the darn thing was so hard to adjust...might be cuz the jam nut is WELDED to the bolt!!!!...so I put a washer under the jam nut as a temporary fix until I can get on the Jeep forum and find out a permanent remedy...then of course we looked at the LH tire and it had a small rub on the inside sidewall...so I added a washer to the left side limit bolt as well...might have to replace the RH tire due to the damage...LH tire looks OK

Not sure if you have the same problemo, but it could be...good luck!

I would have the front end checked out by either a buddy or a mechanic. Theres so many things that can go wrong up there. You can do a once-over first and make sure nothing is bent or broken. Check and see if the tires are aligned properly. I just turn the wheel until one tire is parallel to the fender and look at both of them from the front. Also, stick your head out the door and turn your wheel very slowly. You should see the tire move ever so slightly also. If it takes a few degrees of the wheel to turn the tire, there is play and something should be checked out. I know it seems dumb, but also check your lug nuts. Loose ones can cause the tires to go crazy. I'm no suspension specialist, so this is just my .02
