I have been told about a frame brace for the inner and outer of the frame on both the driver and passenger side.. but I can not find it now to show (ask) you guys

Please tell me how to solve my problem.. I dont want to install this stuff twice.. and I dont like to cut corners (unless of course its made of sheet metal ).

I do plan on running a winch to pull ppl out of mud (ohio) and eventually go to Moab (steering reinforcement).. so all sorts of added stress and strain under different situations will eventually be the case..

I know you guys will "pull" through for me (pun intended)

Here's what I used. Reinforced the whole unibody this way from front bumper to rear leaf spring mounts.

But I think I need something a little less invasive.

I would rather not uninstall a bunch to strengthen the front end, frame, steering and bumper mount points

I would suggest you call RigidCo and see if you can purchase their bumper mounting kit separately from the bumper...
In addition to the items you link'd above, it also has a chassis reinforcement cross brace that ties the front of the 2 "frame" rails together solidly... cutting is required...
I have not seen a bumper install/reinforcement kit as extensive as theirs.

I honestly don't trust the uni-body after jacking up on it and bending the bottom in some(now I always put a 2x4 between the jack and "frame rail". For my bumper I would like to get the specs on the JCR frame tie-ins and make a couple myself that are actually the bumper mounts. 1/4 plate steel oughta do the trick. Then weld the bumper out of 3/16th and 1/8th steel

I have/had this bumper on my truggy. By far this is the best mounting system for the front bumper. Also that being said the bumper can take a lot of abuse. Weight is under 60LBS which is good for a bumper this size.

This is the FBW installed. It was before I put the fairlead on it. Also before I really started beating on my rig.

trapper, exactly what you are looking for is the link on joe dirts post. those will give you so much more support on the frame without bending it or ripping it out
