Default Bumper Lights, Need help with wiring ASAP

Today I got my lights mounted onto the bumper and have started wiring them but haven't had much luck.

I ran the blue wire from the red wire on light 1 into the green wire.

I ran the red wire from light 2 into the green wire.
I ran the green wire into the back of the switch.

I ran the red wire from the battery to the back of the switch.

What i am a little confused about it connecting the black ground wires that come out of the lights. As you can see in photo 2 they are around a screw on the radiator. I don't know if that is a good place or if it should go somewhere else.

I'm also not too sure where on the battery i hook the red wire to.

If you guys could help out that would be great.

When I ran my lights in my old truck, I ran the red from the battery to a switch in the cab with an in-line fuse. Both the lights were wired to the switch and I grounded the lights by connecting the gounds from both lights and mounting the wire inside the enging bay in the same place the battery ground is. hope this helps.

The grounds from my lights are very short, so i would need to buy some more wire and connect the two grounds together, then run a wire from the two connected ground wires to a ground bolt, correct?

Also where on your battery did you connect the red wire that runs into the switch?

So the bolt I have circled in this photo is the ground bolt I need to connect to right?

You dont need to run it to that ground. you can make your own ground. The only thing you need to make sure is its touching clean bare metal. The body acts as the conductor

I grounded the lights to the battery. If your switch is like mine it also needs to be grounded. Just make sure the switch was hooked up right. I went crazy cause i pluged up my switch wrong

you can ground the lights directaly to the mount for the lights, thats how mine were, works just fine, you need to run power from the switch to the relay. The relay needs a power source and a good ground. Most good relays have a wireing diagram on them.

Ok, I will add a relay, what type of relay would be best to buy?

I think I understand how to wire the rest of the lights:

Run the grounds from the lights to the light mounting brackets
Run the green wire that connects the two lights into the 87 part of the relay
Run the red wire from the battery into the 30 part of the relay
Run a wire from the 85 part of the relay into the top of the switch
Run a wire from the bottom of the switch into the fuse box.

If someone sees that i am missing something, let me know

When you get a relay get a relay that has seperat light spots so they don't have to share 1,but I think you have it. Try and find a Bosch relay.Napa or AutoZone or somewhere.
