Stock F350 sway bar links work great for up to 4.5 inches of lift!
F350 rear shocks work great too (press metal sleeve out)
way cheaper than any aftermarket ones

nice write up. thanks
i found out that ford ranger rear leaf springs work great. They bolt right under the stock winpy top leaf of the xj. they hold anything you put in you jeep with out any sagging. I got my packs for 11 bucks at the junk yard off a 89 ranger. just break the center pin and take the free leafs. Then just bolt them up to your stock xj main leaf. Done

sure
first unbolt the rearend. second once the axle is cleared from the xj leaf pack. remove the center pin and remove the old leafs . Thrid Take the ranger leaf pack all but the main leaf. place the new pack under the stock xj main leaf. Forth place a guide pin and use clamps to pull them together. fifth once the pack is placed inline put a new center pin and tighten then your pack is done
i will get a pic up for u if u need it

I asked this one a few pages ago. I had never heard of it until I got on here. A bastard pack is where you takes leaf springs from another vehicle (I'm told S-10 springs for XJ's) and install them into your factory rear leafs, alternating between the factory leaves and the S-10 leaves.
Feel free to correct me if I'm off on that... LOL

As well as many other items

1995 ford f150 rear shocks work for up to 5" of lift. i have them in the rear of my jeep and theyre great. their fully extended length is 26". i have about 10" of travel with them. you can get them at napa for 30 bucks each. these f150s had two sets of shocks so be sure to get the longer ones. autozone also sells a set of shackles that are lowering shackles for pickup trucks but they will give your xj up to 2" of lift in the rear. i had them installed on my last jeep and they were beefy and took a beating. you can find them in the section with all the towing stuff near the lift blocks. (do not buy lift blocks, your xj will blow up if you do)
