Oh my god, those wheels...

At least it doesn't come with those. Might be worth looking at, but inspect it for front end damage. Kinda looks like it may have bumped something.

Wow, it looks great outside of those gangsta rims. Shoot, if your buddy doesn't buy it and it's still around in August I might look at it when I come up to visit my parents. They live in Greenup =P

i bet it's the rims that makes for the $1100 resale value. $100 for the jeep & $1000 for the rims! haha

I bet the wiring under the dash is a nightmare! With wheels like that put on a Jeep, you just know a cheap *** half assed stereo install was done at some point.

I hope those blue straps aren't holding the rear bumper on.

If it needs an alignment, take a good hard look under the front end for anything out of place or bent/loose. That could make an $1100 rig a lot more expensive. Also, I don't see any reason a 96 XJ would need a new head at 150k unless the previous owner didn't take care of maintenance. If you're not comfortable checking all the finer points, I'd recommend taking the Jeep to a trustworthy mechanic for a pre purchase inspection ($100 well spent) or another jeeper who is intimate with the XJ.

Could be a great buy,
