Default Broken year wiper.

I'm still trying to repair this wiper...somehow. I can get the fluid to spray onto the back glass, but the wiper blade only goes halfway up (sometimes) then stops and I have to fight it to get it back down. I think it may be because of a weak motor in the rear hatch that doesn't give enough power to the blade. Please give me some suggestions? thanks. By the way...the title is supposed to say rear, not year, I was typing too fast.

pull the back cover off unplug the wires and clean them may have to run a new grond wire had to do this on my 85 I think it a yellow wire but for sure the fiberglass hatches dont have a ground to body its wired ground to the motor also check the voltage at the motor you may have to clean the wires up close to the switch cant remmber where the connection is but if dont have close to 12 volts thats where your ploblem is
