I have a 98 XJ 2-Door. The driver's side door window doesn't go up or down easily anymore. I took it apart and one of the retainer clips that holds the glass to the lift plate is broken. I can't seem to find the replacement clip online. Anyone seen any "homebrew" fixes for this issue? I think I'm gonna head to a junkyard and get the clip, but I'm afraid that worn out clip will just do the same thing.
