If you can feel the difference and need to change it I would go to the junkyard and just pull one. Or look on craigslist and buy one off someone parting out a Cherokee.

Ok I see now..youch...gonna require some welding to fix that..The axle mount joints broke from the axle..

You will need something like this to be welded back on..

Although you might be able to find a new front axle cheaper.

Dude take those stock dimpy links off and replace them with these:

These won't break like that. Of course you could just weld it or get junkers but why not just spend a few bucks ($30 something) and eliminate the weak link (literally).

Mud what broke isn't the links..It's where they mount at.. The mounts that are welded to the frame are what broke.. So new end links won't fix this..

Oh thanks OKC. I didn't see the 2nd picture of the other side. I thought it was just the rod of the link snapping off the eye portion of the link. My bad. At least i'm half correct about fixing the links but ya still gotta weld that bracket back on.

Um don't tell someone to toss the front sway bar lifted or not it will affect the jeep and possible safety. Without the sway bar is you have to cut the wheel hard it will cause body roll lifted or not and could cause the jeep to roll. Advising someone to do something that is unsafe is not helping anyone.

stock suspension is way too soft to run without sway bars, seriously.

I've driven a few xj's without a sway bar in front. It's not the safest thing to do.If you like to fight the steering every bump you hit,and body roll go for it.

I have one on mine. The ones I drove I was fixing a front end problem...guess what it was.
