Looking under my jeep the other day and I noticed my rear left shock was not attached at the top. (!) There was one newer bolt in there and the other one was broken in the place where it's supposed to screw into. I put it back in it's place, and tightened the bolt down good with a washer and lock washer.. However it held for just one trip around town and it came out again. My main question is, what do most people do in this situation? Try to drill the bolt out and retap? Or Just drill all the way through the body and use a longer bolt? And lastly if my shocks aren't sized properly for my lift size, could it cause more stress such as pulling it out from the upper mount if its too short?? Thanks everyone
