I guess this is probably a common but i broke my rear upper shock bolts, and i cant get them out. I have no air tools but i have a drill. I don't know how to weld good yet so how do i get the bolts out using hand and electric tools? Thanks for the help

Get a punch and hammer and go to town on it.

Then just use a bolt and nut combo to hold the shock

Hammer the snapped off bolt. It should break the nut loose and then get it out. Feed a new grade8 10mm 1.5" long bolt down through top with fishing line or wire tied to the begging of the threads. I just did this last week works great.

x2...knocking it out and replacing with bolts will not only save you hours of drilling and tapping but will help whenever you need to take the shocks off in the future.

Just had this happen to me when my rear bushing went bad. Had to drill and tap. Nice, bigger, sturdy bolt in there now!

ya knock it out and put a new bolt and nut in there. I see all these stories of people having trouble feeding them up in there but I could fit my hand into the slot? My hands are normal size too ha.

I was able to do it with just my hands as well. I was also able to get a wrench up there without much problem either. Using wire to pull through will make it easier if you don't have much dexterity in your fingers or if you don't have much patience trying it a few times when you drop the bolt up in the unibody.

they are a great idea.

you could just have someone weld a pair of those up in there and just not worry about having to get those broken bolts out.
