Broken Overflow tube?

This happened to me also. I took the center pin out of an unused rivet, then slid the hollow body of the rivet from the inside out of the radiator with the flange on the inside. Sealed it with silicone and hose clamped the hose onto it. Its been like that for 5 years and doesn't leak a drop. To tell you the truth I forgot that I did that until I read this thread its been like that so long.
This happened on my last jeep. There is a company called airsept and they make a replacement for this. You just drill out the old one and the kit comes with a replacement neck. it worked great.
