Searched around on the forum and Google but can't 100% sure identify this cable. It doesn't seem like the throttle or Trans knockdown cable but I'm not certain. I've taken a picture and outlined the cable. It was attached to the intake (can't remember if it was on the top or bottom if intake but it was next to the egr valve). I traced the cable and it looks like it attaches to this black cylinder, but not sure what that is either. I posted on another thread and someone suggested safety wire as a fix. I'm also going to the junkyard 2morrow to see if I can find it, but would just like to replace new if possible. Anyone know what cable this? And/or part #?

It's on a 90 Cherokee. I also have cruise control so I'm not sure if that's the cruise cable.
