Default Brakes not working right.... Help....

Ok, Stock Cherokee limited 4.0, Brake pedal is very tight hardly no soft braking at all, brakes engage when I almost put both my feet on pedal, and still barely slows down the jeep. Brake pads are in good shape, have plenty of fluid.... this problem just started

Sounds like a vacuum booster problem.

thanks EZEarl, it was the large Plastic Vac, Connector that goes from the Booster to the manifold, I took the one off my 72 Chevy and tried it, Brakes work fine again!!!
