Default brakes are feeling odd?

kinda touchy, not like going to floor or anything, but just touchy feeling

they also feel a little pulsey as low speeds, but they are not anti-lock

Have you inspected the brakes at all?

Fluid Level?

Have you bled them lately?

Are the pads okay? (i.e. is one side worse than the other which may be a bad caliper)

Is there fluid on the rotor and/or in the drums?

etc, etc, etc

There is a lot we need to know before we can help. The more details about what you found helps a lot.

Some good old fashioned brake service should fix most problems.

Check condition of all parts as mentioned above

As far as pulsey goes, x2 replace/machine your rotors, new pads

it's more like they are not as responsive as they where a week or two ago, push it brakes down, then not much happens, then a little further they really grip...

it;s like the brakes are working in stages, or steps rather than being progressive

as for the warped brake idea... this feels different

I have not noticed any fluid

no clue when it was last bled... but honestly if it needs bleed there is a problem

could be a caliper acting up.

check the pads and see how worn they are.

have you added brake fluid recently? ( indicated pad/shoe wear or a leak )

takes a lot to warp rotors.
It is more likely brake dust deposits. Do 5-6 35mph-5mph stops..Do the same at 45mph and then a few more @ 60mph.
This should get rid of the deposits and the pulsating feeling should be gone.

It's common of you do a lot of bumper to bumper driving.
