brakes dont work

i got stuck last night and on my way out of the woods my brakes got realy stiff to where i cant press them and my jeep doesnt stop what could cause this
brakes self energized to much brake fluid in master cylinder check shoes for glazing if so take A file & rough scratch shoes back only to fresh fiber do not breath brake dust !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your break peddle got really hard check the vacuum line on the break booster the hose goes from the booster to the intake manifold. See if it is cracked and has a vacuum leak. Also check the check valve on the booster it stuck. Just pull it off. You should be able to blow in on one side and not the other.
