Default brakes dont work

i got stuck last night and on my way out of the woods my brakes got realy stiff to where i cant press them and my jeep doesnt stop what could cause this

brakes self energized to much brake fluid in master cylinder check shoes for glazing if so take A file & rough scratch shoes back only to fresh fiber do not breath brake dust !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there is almost nothing on the rear shoes

If your break peddle got really hard check the vacuum line on the break booster the hose goes from the booster to the intake manifold. See if it is cracked and has a vacuum leak. Also check the check valve on the booster it stuck. Just pull it off. You should be able to blow in on one side and not the other.

this might sound stupid but i cant find my booster i dont see anything behind my mc

It's the big round black thing right behind the break master cylinder. It is what you mc is bolted to

by chance could you have hydro-boost? see lines commingout of it going to the power steering pump.

what year is iit? It could be the ABS crap i had. U wont have a booster just a bunch of lines on the fender well with a block they all go into.

All the ABS equipped vehicles I have seen have a booster.
