How hard is it to replace the rubber boot behind the pedal? I am getting some hella sqeaking

 

Should be easy. Pull the pedal off the accuator rod, and the boot should slide over/off the end of the rod. I want to know why it's squeaking though, the boot is designed to keep crap out of there, but doesn't do anything to keep the push rod assy from squeaking...there could be other issues.

 

id lube all piviot points before i started throwing parts at it. might just need some love lube.
