I cross threaded the rear port on the underside the prop valve of my son's 99 xj. So I need to replace the prop valve but it seems to be discontinued everywhere and since it has ABS i'm not seeing anything out there except for $60 used ones that look like they've been through a few car fires.
Is there any other model out there that would be a direct swap for a abs xj?
Thanks

I can't help on any cross reference but if you can find a used one intact, they aren't difficult to disassemble and clean up. You may not even need to replace any parts.
When I took mine apart it looked like it had been laying in the bottom of the sewage treatment plant. Not sure how the brakes even worked. I scrubbed it out, checked everything and reassembled it.
My brakes work fine. I can brake to threshold and none of the wheels lock up.

hmm yeah so I can just use the plug from my fudged up prop valve to plug a non abs prop valve your saying Originally Posted by Jim Malcolm
