Brake problem with strange symptoms, please help!
Hi guys
I have a braking problem with my Jeep and I'm not sure exactly how to diagnose the problem but that is because I have never come across these symptoms before.
The brake warning light comes on a short period of time after the engine is started which I know means there is a problem but...... if you start the car and wait a few seconds before applying the brake pedal the brakes are all fine but if you start the car with your foot on the brake pedal as soon as the car fires the pedal drops a long way and there is a metallic/air escaping sound and you loose all brake assistance but if you drive the car for a few minutes suddenly you get the brakes back.
Any ideas please people?
Thanks in advance
Dave
