Ok need some opinions..

Front Pads, ceramic or standard semi-metallic?

Rotors, Autozone, Advances or NAPA?

I have to replace mine now they are grinding..been trying to get through the cold weather but can't wait any longer.

 

I wouldn't go with ceramic on an XJ personally. Only because I know what I take mine through and I'm sure they don't like mud. Semi-metallic have always worked just fine for me and they're cheaper than ceramic. As for the rotors, I always just get the house brand of whatever store I'm at because they seem to do the job. I also thing Autozone has some sort of limited warranty unless they don't do that anymore. And last time I got AC Delco pads, they came with a one time replacement card. When they wear past a certain amount, you can get a new set free one time. Not sure if they''re still doing it, but it's worth asking about.

 

i go with whatever i can get the longest warranty on. i have lifetime on shoes, pads and calipers.
