Brake Line Fittings
I need to know what size brake line fittings I need for my '96 Cherokee. I ran a new main rear brake line (master cylinder back to the rear axle split valve). I don't want to have to go to NAPA so don't say "Just take the old fittings to NAPA", I work at a garage and was going to grab some off the shelf. But I need to get my Jeep through NYS Inspection (which is not fun, easy, or simple)

I made a replacement line for former my '84 CJ a few years back and the fittings were a standard size for a car/truck. I just went to Autozone and said I needed a brake line, they asked how long, then went and got a standard length one that was a little longer than I needed. It was already flared on the ends and included two fittings. All I had to do was cut it to my length and re-flare one end.
According to a web site I looked at on the subject your brake lines should use: 3/16" tubing and standard 3/8-24 UNF thread fittings
