Default 8.25 u-joint

Hello everyone, so yesterday I replaced my d35 that i snapped an axle shaft in with a chrysler 8.25. I checked my u joint after doing everything and could feel it clunk a little, and honestly it wouldnt surprise me if it has never been replaced so Im sure it was bad. But anyways as soon as I went on a test drive and gunned it I blew the u joint, so my question is, does the d35 use the same u joint as the 8.25 or was the joint just bad? Thanks for help,
-Phil

there is no u-joint in the rear axle... you mean the u-joint in the rear driveshaft? it's the same driveshaft, isn't it?

Hey so one more question, on my d35 i pulled out, the air vent tube coming off the axle housing is directly off to the side of the brake line T, but on the 8.25 Its directly on top of the bolt on the brake line T. The guy i bought the 8.25 from cut the softline so I need to replace it and was hoping to use a wrangler rear brake line because they are 3" longer but now im wondering if it can be used with the 8.25, if it cant be used, what other rear brake line can be used other then buying extended steel braided lines from somewhere? First picture is the dana 35 with the air vent to the right of the brake line t, second picture is the 8.25 with the vent coming out the top of the brake line t.
