Brake Light frankenstein job
I don't know who got into my Jeep before I had it, but they went nuts with the wiring.
It's a 1989 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4x4, 4L, 6-cylinder...
The brake lights were fine until just a few days ago. I have hazards, running lights, turn signals... no brake lights.
Fuses all check out. Brake light bulbs are fine. No wires obviously distressed. Until I looked at the switch:

Well. No wonder. Did this get kicked off? And who does this to wires? I'm going to reattach it, and see if it works. I'm going to TRY to reattach it.

Opinions welcome. Also, what is this? It was just... hanging around.

Thanks for any insight!
