Okay, so I've seen numerous threads of other people asking what something is on their XJ. I started this thread to narrow down the new threads taking up room.

My question:

What is this???

Info: 1991 Jeep Cherokee / 4.0L inline 6 / AW4 transmission.

Looks like a ballast resister for the ignition coil.
