Hey guys my name is Liam, I'm 17 years old new to the whole forum situation. I bought a 1994 jeep Cherokee sport for $520 from a guy who was on "disability" anywho I do all the work myself. My issue that I'm having is that the master cylinder that's connected to the brake booster, it leaks. So right where the back of the master is connected to the booster, it leaks out the bottom. The master and booster are both new. Any ideas? Another issue that I'm having is when I push on the brake when I come to a complete stop it sounds the like the car jerks forward the slightest bit but the car itself doesn't move. Then when I take my foot off the brake to start driving it feels like it's dragging or something. Any ideas guys. I've very lost and concerned. If it helps at all, I've replaced the front rotors and pads, but not the rear drums or shoes. Any ideas guys? Please help! Thanks guys! Liam

WELCOME to CF.
Were the booster and m/s bought at the same time?
As far as the other concern it could be the nature of the beast. Mine never dragged but would "clunk" at a stop and take off. Nothing loud. I asked about it here and consensus was it was normal. It's gone since I converted to discs. You need to be sure the rear brakes are good of course.

I'd take it back. Came assembled together right?
That's not what's causing your other problem (if it is a problem). Do your brakes then see what you got. You should replace everything in the rear brakes unless things look relatively new. If you get into too much cost you may as well switch to discs.
