Default Bought a "connector repair kit"

Bought this for my transmission coolant line to stop a leak and it won't completely snap in. Any ideas?

I ended up replacing mine with parts from the dealer, did all trans lines and connectors.(figured that would make it last a second lifetime!)

Make sure the other two orings and plastic spacer are not in the other end of the connection.

Never replaced one of these on my other jeep. It goes in like the picture shows right? Or does it go behind the clip?

Also could there be something stuck in the tranny where the line goes?

Lost the spacer somehow. Anyone know anything I could use in its place? Can't find one at any parts store here and don't wanna spend another 20 bucks on a whole new one.
