Default Bottom park lights(marker lights directly below headlights) wont come on

Ok I thought my 88 xj was supoosed do this but obviously not. Apparently there supposed be 4park light marker lamps on wen have park lights and headlights on. Only my two park lights on the sides come one . The ones below the headlights dnt. The only come one wen turn sigmals come on amd blink like supposed to but wen I turm just park lights on I only have two on the side come on. how do I fix this?

Get you a test light and see if the sockets have power to them if not track it back tell you have power.

Kinda near the air box/left headlamp there is a harness plug for the front lighting system. Could be a crappy connection in the front parklamp circuit.

Im having the same issue with my 88 Laredo... I thought they were supposed to be on as marker lamps, but only come on as turn signal and flashers... still passes inspection on lights that way... but it is wierd.

Yea . Ill cjeck the harness connector, I got the side park lights just not ones under the main headlihgts

Check for power at the sockets themselves. Work your way back as freegdr suggests if you find no power. I looked in a wiring diagram and ther is a common connector near the airbox behind the left headlamp.

I'm gonna bump this up as I'm having the same problem except mine is limited to the passenger side. Driver side lights up and flashes for blinker like normal, pass. side flashes for blinker but not running light. My pass. rear brake light is doing the samething, lights for brake but not running. Swapped bulbs, fuse#7, nada.
