The cherokees are unibody (body and frame one piece). There is not a body lift for them....

XJs are unibody, means no frame,so no you can't do a body lift.

don't feel ill minded though.... alot of people mistake the jeep XJ for being a frame style vehicle.... its one of the things that separates us from those Chevy/Ford guys.... we can't lift out rigs a mile high with huge blocks

I never understood a body lift.It gives you absoluteley no more clearence, flex or travel and therefore they are strictley for posers.

Clearance for bigger tires? It also results in a slightly lower COG than a suspension lift of the same height, but the difference is marginal.

The reason for a suspension lift is to clear bigger tires for more ground clearance, a body lift does the exact same thing.
